Description

The ITE Pre-screener is designed for pre-scalping of solids in heterogeneous solid-liquid mixtures. In the chain of a separation system the pre-screener forms the first link and separates coarse and abrasive materials such as concrete and wood particles to protect the downstream screening machines. Due to its robustness and the steeply inclined strainer bars the pre-screener is able to separate high flow rates without flowing over. The screens of the downstream screening machines have thereby a much longer durability.

The ITE Pre-screener is a compact pre-scalping unit designed for installation on a modular ITE vibration shaker (3PSM/4PSM) by means of a framework. The vibration motor sets the steel box installed on 4 springs into motion and thereby the strainer bars separate the solid particles from the liquid. The pre-screener is able to separate solids with a grain size ≥ 6.5 mm. The fineness of separation depends on the spacings of the strainer bars used.
